Warm fruit, cool cream, golden hour indulgence featuring peaches, strawberries, and honey whipped ricotta. Why it works? Grilling caramelizes the fruit’s natural sugars, while the whipped ricotta adds creamy contrast and a slightly savory balance.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
- 1 cup Naturipe strawberries, halved
- 1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter (for brushing)
- 1 cup whole milk ricotta
- 2 tbsp honey (plus extra for drizzling)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Zest of 1 lemon (optional)
- Crushed pistachios or almonds (optional topping)
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat grill to medium-high. Brush peach halves and strawberries lightly with oil or butter.
- Grill peaches cut-side down for 2–3 minutes, until softened and char-marked. Grill strawberries in a grill pan or skewer for ~1 minute—just until warm and slightly softened.
- In a bowl, whip ricotta with honey, vanilla, and lemon zest until smooth and fluffy.
- To serve: Spoon whipped ricotta onto a plate or shallow bowl. Top with grilled fruit, a drizzle of honey, and optional crushed pistachios.
