Naturipe Snacks has launched SnackBites, a refrigerated protein snack featuring a real fruit center. Each three-count package provides 12g of protein and 300 calories total. The bites are formulated with BC30™ probiotics to aid digestion and support the gut microbiome. While the initial rollout uses blueberries, Naturipe is already developing strawberry and dark chocolate-coated versions.
Vice President Steven Ware notes that this product targets the “functional snacking” market. Current data shows that half of consumers snack at least three times daily, often seeking specific health benefits like energy or stress relief. The high-protein and probiotic profile specifically appeals to health-conscious shoppers and GLP-1 users. SnackBites are currently rolling out to select retailers nationwide.
