IDEAL FOR: Sauce

Add a burst of festive flavor to your holiday table with this bright and tangy cranberry sauce. Made with Naturipe cranberries, fresh orange juice, and a touch of maple syrup, it strikes the perfect balance of sweet and tart. Simple to make and beautifully vibrant, this holiday essential pairs perfectly with everything from savory mains to sweet treats.

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 oz Naturipe Cranberries (fresh or frozen)
  • ¾ cup orange juice (freshly squeezed preferred)
  • Zest of 1 large orange
  • ½ cup water
  • ¾ cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon Grand Marnier or bourbon for a flavor boost

DIRECTIONS

  1. Simmer the base: In a medium saucepan, combine orange juice, water, sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
  2. Add the cranberries: Stir in Naturipe Cranberries and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until most berries burst and the sauce thickens.
  3. Finish and cool: Remove from heat and stir in the orange zest (and Grand Marnier, if using). Let cool slightly; the sauce will thicken as it stands.
  4. Serve and store: Serve warm or chilled. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to one week.

Chef’s Tip:
For extra sparkle, garnish with fresh orange zest or a few frozen Naturipe Cranberries before serving.
