{  How to Select, Store, & Handle  }


Choose cranberries that are firm to the touch, deep red in color, and plump in size.

Avoid cranberries that have cuts, cracks or bruises.

Store fresh cranberries in the refrigerator or freeze them to store for up to 1 year.

Do not wash cranberries prior to refrigeration or freezing.

When handled and stored properly, cranberries can stay fresh

Super Cranberry Pumpkin Muffins

  •  1 cup whole wheat flour
  •  1 cup unbleached white flour
  •  1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  •  1 teaspoon baking soda
  •  2 eggs
  •  1/4 cup olive oil
  •  1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  •  1 cup pure, solid-pack pumpkin
  •  1/2 cup banana puree
  •  1 1/2 cup Naturipe® cranberries, chopped
  •  1/2 cup walnuts, toasted and chopped
  • 1 Preheat oven to 350F.
  • 2 In a large bowl stir together dry ingredients.
  • 3 In a small bowl, beat together eggs, olive oil, brown sugar, pumpkin and banana.
  • 4 Combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients, mixing until just incorporated. Stir in cranberries.
  • 5 Spoon batter into greased muffin tins. Top with remaining sugar and nuts.
  • 6 Bake at 350F for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick tests clean.
