How To Prepare

Blackberry Broccoli Slaw Recipe

8 oz. broccoli slaw mix
1/4 c reduced fat mayonnaise – 230 calories
2 T rice vinegar
1/4 t celery salt
1/3 c toasted walnuts, diced – 255 calories
1/4 c golden raisins – 198 calories
18 oz. fresh blackberry – 215 calories

Add white pepper to taste.

Delicious Directions

In a small bowl combine mayonnaise, vinegar and celery salt until well blended.
Pour mixture over broccoli slaw and toss well.
Refrigerate.
Before serving, add walnuts, raisins and blackberries.
Total calories for whole dish: around 1155. Dish can serve four at 290 calories per serving.

Broccoli slaw is a perfect dish to be served as a refreshing, cool side at any barbecue or party. It’s easy to make, serve and can even be used on sandwiches. Adding blackberry broccoli slaw atop your favorite roasted turkey sandwich on fresh sourdough bread makes a delicious lunch or cool summer dinner.
