Strawberries

Strawberries, sometimes called "inside-out" fruit because the seeds are on the outside, have an average of 200 seeds on each berry! American Indians were growing strawberries in the 17th century, and the settlers arriving in Massachusetts found them growing in abundance along the East Coast. Most of the strawberries purchased in stores today are grown in California, although Florida also provides a significant amount during the winter months.

Naturipe® Farms strawberries are available in a variety of sizes, both organic and conventional, to fit your family's needs, ranging from 8-ounce to 4-pound containers. We also offer premium long-stem strawberries. Kids and adults alike love to have them dipped in chocolate!

Strawberries are a wholesome source for essential vitamins and minerals such as vitamin C, folate, fiber, potassium and antioxidants that help keep you and your family healthy. Just eight strawberries have more vitamin C than a medium orange. Strawberries are low in carbs, fat and calories, and studies have shown that they may lower the risk of certain types of cancer.
