We are currently in week 2 of the #BerryHealthy2014 31-day challenge! Today’s challenge is: Eat your leafy greens to help with insomnia.

Eating well leads to sleeping better and can contribute to a healthy life! A well balanced diet is extremely important because it provide essential vitamins and nutrients the body needs to function. Leafy greens, such as romaine lettuce, kale, spinach and collard greens are a stapes in a healthy diet. Each of these greens are high in folates which can improve sleeping. They also contain nutrients like calcium and magnesium that also contribute to better sleep.
